So if you’re ready to return back to college as an adult student come back every week where I will have a new video teaching you how to succeed as a busy adult student.
What makes this studytube channel different than any other that you’ve watched before is that we focus on simple + effective study strategies for busy, adult college students who don’t have time to be doodling and color-coding their notes.

Good practice. Personally, I had to learn to stop saying sorry for things not my fault. I like that meditation book called 30 Days to Stop Apologizing by Harper Daniels.
Let me help you see your "negative attributes" from a different perspective. Comment below with something you don't like about yourself or a past event you can't seem to stop letting affect you and I will comment back helping you change the narrative.
3 it's time for me to do for me not everybody else all the time.
I really needed this I failed and it’s honestly my fault I procrastinated and tried to submit my assignments all at the last minute I feel embarrassed exhausted and awful I wish I would’ve done something better my parents are disappointed and I feel disappointed I’ve never cried harder I hate telling my parents that I failed my classes I was online this school year which honestly never works for me so imma go back to public school. But after see this video I now understand that this is just a hiccup and things can’t get worse
i also have immigrant parents and i also want to major in biology, im interested in being an obgyn, a physician, or a nurse. yet i am in my sophomore year of highschool and i have 3 D's, and 1 F, two C's and one B+. i am also devastated because i am failing my biomedical class and i always wanted to go to an ivy league or a UC, but i know now that the chance of that happening is very low. anyways, i really appreciate this ideo, i will be taking two classes online this summer and i plan to lock in this summer with my grades and start studying for the SAT. ill probably go to CC and transfer to a good school after 2 years, i think. This video really helped me and made me realize im not alone. Thank you so much.
Is anybody option 2ing a course or has option 2ed a course, please share your experiences if you have.
This is for average student, not for all students
Currently taking college algebra and introduction to European history both online at the same time IT. IS.BRUTAL!!! week 1 was basic graphing and now on week 2 we're doing exponential equations and factoring powers...many late nights looking at screens but im maintaining a C+ B- average but its ROUGH and you gotta want it and you gotta have crazy discipline.
Thank you so much first-time college student.. coming from a high school dropout... been over 10 years since I been in education system but I'm confident in myself thank you...
BRO!! Same here. Summer classes are rough, but we have real-world experience and are more focused we know why we're here we know what we're after most others are there because "I'm supposed to" or because their parents where crawling up their ass about going.
I like her
Hello, Clarissa How are you?. I hope you are doing well. Have you received my email?. I am waiting for your reply. Thank you
What I do is look at how many exercices I did and how many hours I've spent studying, but now I realized that it's not the quantity I should focus on, but rather the quality. Next time, the exercices and time won't matter, but how well I undrestood the chapter will :)
Thank you so much for sharing your story. ♥ The amount of similarities I see in your story to mine is so so encouraging for me. I've been in college for so long as a Biology major, I'm waiting to check a grade that I absolutely need for me to graduate in 5 days and I'm so nervous, but I believe in God and have faith!! 🙏🏾God bless you and all your future endeavors.
I GRADUATED 17 DAYS AGO!!!! Glory to GOD! ❤❤❤ I'm so so so so so thankful omg. And thank you again for this video girl! It helped me stay calm in my storm of anxiety and waiting for my test results, you have no idea!
you're amazing.
🤨😞
I would love for you to be my life coach. I just discovered your channel when I was trying to find better ways to study and take notes for college but you made me realize it just might be me as to why I can’t seem to be fulfilled internally and that’s why I can’t get to my end goal for myself. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I’m so glad you stumbled upon my channel. It’s so much deeper than just study skills and you’ll see that as you watch my videos.

Clarissa your an actual “Gem”. You may not recognize my account. I was going to do your program because you understand the emotional strength and vulnerability needed to by pass our own inner issues. I couldn’t afford it and I wanted to let you know that I still watched your videos and I’ll be graduating this Fall of 2024. Even when I wasn’t in your program your inner genuiness to help others was contagious. Even when you said in the video “you got lost in the money etc”. You are amazing and your learning curve has been the most enriching and awe-inspiring wisdom I have come across. Thank you for being beautiful, thank you for your personal casket and funeral box called “Ego-Death”. Choosing self, choosing your life and your desires so pivotal. I will shut in and do the same! Stay blessed! Maybe one day I can take your course in my next step if and when you decide to open your programs again. Your kindness and openness has opened doors for me… that education just can’t. ❤❤❤
literally crying. Congratulations!!! thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment. For reflecting me back to me. I am so proud of you for persevering. 1 more semester!!!!
I didn't follow my study plan after failing exam once then , I failed again.
What you were saying in a past video about the pits of despair reign so true for me. I watch that video whenever I fall off. That was a powerful video. That spoke to the root of my problem.
learning how to navigate the pit of despair will be the most important thing you learn in this lifetime. It's what makes life feel beautiful even when it's really hard.
Thanks😊
oh may i ask what video was that?
I'm in desperate need of help. I'm in my 3rd year 2nd semester of economics(4 year course) with 6 failed classes. Do tou think you can help me, please?😢
I likely can. Schedule a consultation call work me sherocksatcollege.com/consultcall
This was wonderful will use for my success
Atlest you were in the USA what about those who are not in the US
We definitely have certain priveledges
I had to come back and search for this video because I talked to you 3 years ago about the pit of despair. I keep going through it every time I try to learn something. I was wondering if you can give me a copy of The Cycle of emotions so I can put it on my wall to remind myself to keep going.
My current academic goal is I want to attend office hours every single week. I want to stick to my study schedule 90% of the time. I want to achieve a 100% on every exam. My current thoughts about achieving it No RUclips except for guided meditation videos. I need to be more disciplined. I will not let an irrelevant, by two years, mental illness diagnosis define or limit me. I can catch up and learn how to take notes as well as study. (Even though you had said that there is a link to a free workshop that will assist in not having to do so, I would still like to learn how to study and take notes.) What do I want to believe about myself and about the possibility of achieving this goal? That I am intelligent and curious. That I am capable to rise from challenges and setbacks. That I am independent and I can take control of my life. And that I am mature enough to handle life and to make good choices. That I will achieve this goal for sure.
It sounds like she has ADHD
I know I am 9 years late but....... when I say this has saved me tremendously with my current class. This even helped with doing the review questions for my Med Tech classes. Thank you so much for keeping these videos. I have been taking notes from these videos. I kid you not the first two sentences has had all the info needed for my review questions. Rewriting the objectives in question form has helped me get the understanding of the chapters retaining what I've read. Thank you, thank you.
Loved the video! Thank you for sharing the ❤️ knowledge 🙏😊
well, i am at the "7 classes failed" fase :')
Fr real 😅😅😅😅
Try to tell that to someone with severe adhd...
I work with a lot of women in college with ADHD. We don't see it through the lens of it being a limitation but rather it's giving us the blueprint for how your brain works and we work WITH the ADHD rather than seeing it as something we have to overcome.
@@sherocksatcollege I dont know about them but i personally cant even brush my teeth
In my third year and this is what I am experiencing right now. I was always a straight-A student but in my junior year I was having an academic flop era and I just wanted to change my major from engineering to psych because it had reached a point that its affecting my relationship with myself. This is why I am even here scrolling for ways to help me. Thanks for the video I saw myself in your story and I am willing to graduate with this engineering degree.
What happens if I fail 1 paper out of 10 in my second attempt at completing university 😢
Are you saying rewrite objectives and/or summaries? Trying to figure out the priming and lecture
I choose 5. When you know who you need to be and surround yourself around good people. Thanks so much for this video.

thank you sooo much! I needed this for classes.
Thank you for this very valuable information, I soooo badly needed this. Thnk you again
Thank you So Much for The Eye opening Encouragement!! 3 & 5 are my favorite questions because it really made me think.. Most everything I've done has always had some type of influence from others on my decisions, wether it be family, my kids, husband etc. And then who do I become made me even more excited because I not satisfied with the person that I've been. And creating a new me wasn't even on my mind until I saw this video!! That's gonna be the game changer!! Thank you so much!
Thank you for this! I’m going through the same thing now. This is my last semester and it’s going to be the most difficult by far. Advisors can be tough, mine has honestly said things that made me completely question all my goals (at times even change them). I also worked full time most of school because I needed the money but I have cut my hours in order to succeed in this semester.
I’m about to cry, I’ve failed 4 college classes the shame and embarrassment is very bad, especially facing your college advisor, I really really want to go back and try again and get a degree, but I’m so afraid and ashamed, this story gives me so much hope ❤️
I am so glad that you found this video and that it is giving you so much hope. When you go back, remember me because I would love to support you through it.
You rock
bruh this is useless
Number 3. Helps me to get back in time with myself and not worrying about what others think 😊❤
I am so happy I found your page. I am going back to college after seven years. ❤️
I am so happy you found it too. Celebrating your decision to go back!

Thank you so much for this video!
You are so welcome!
This is excellent! I decided to go back to college to finish my degree and even after being accepted back into the program I was confident. I came here to this video and was overwhelming encouraged because i have a very similar story. I have a trauma history leadning to a 1.9 gpa in high school and a 2.0 in college. But i remembered at one point i was on The honor roll and that version of me still exists. I just finished my first semester back in school with a 3.7 term GPA and i made the deans list. Thank you foe all your doing for these women you arw making an impact. Thank you so much for this video it has played a huge roll in building my confidence and inspiring me to be a straight A student! ❤ You can always begin again and this time were going to finish!
This was very helpful tankc♥️🥺
